We are trained in providing support under the TAS Workers Compensation framework and are willing to work collaboratively with clients, their treating parties and other stakeholders.
We understand that attending appointments in person isn't always feasible, but that shouldn't mean you having to delay accessing support.
Please ask about our telephone or video conference appointment options if you feel this will be a more convenient arrangement for you.
Our fees vary depending on session duration and the type of service being supplied. General consultation sessions are 50 minutes in duration, but it is common for initial assessments to take 1.5 hours which attract a fee on a pro rata basis. Psychological consultation fees are guided by the Australian Psychological Society (APS). At South East Psychology & Counselling our fees are set below the APS recommended rates.
We are registered as a provider with Medicare which enables clients to potentially claim rebates back through Medicare. If you are not eligible for Medicare rebates, you may still be able to claim for your consultation through your Private Health Fund, depending on your level of cover.
It is best to contact us to discuss what fees and potential rebates may apply to you.
Cancellation Policy
Please note if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment we require you to do so no later than 24 hours in advance in order to avoid paying the full fee of your consultation.
